The Walking Dead is an American television series developed for television by frank darabont and based upon the cp,ic book series of the same name by Robert kirkman, tony moore and charlie adlard It premiered on the amc network on October 31, 2010 with a 90-minute premiere episode, during the network's "Fearfest". AMC has renewed the series for a second season of 13 episodes.

Plot synopsis
The Walking Dead is centered on Rick Grimes, a small-town police officer from Cynthiana Kentucky , his family, and a number of other survivors who have banded together in order to survive after the world is overrun with zombies . As the series progresses, the characters become more developed, and their personalities shift under the stress of a zombie apocalypse, most notably Rick's.
